Faithful God

  On Sunday morning, as we sang worship hymns, this song dug deep into my heart. Many of the songs have been like a bee, stinging the depths of  my heart. But this one, on that Sunday morning, left me weeping.

How very true, our faithful God. Every tear is caught up. He keeps every promise. If I call, He meets every need. Many times it's not what I wanted, but it is for my good and His glory.

His is the love that never leaves me, my friend who won't deceive. Who can measure up to that? No one, but our faithful God.

I am who I am because of God's faithfulness. He has chiseled the pain and heartache that has molded me into the one HE desires me to be. At times I struggle with the path He has laid before me. But in the end I must trust that I am all I'll ever be because of my faithful God.
